ABOUT AGE CONCERN
Our Website
Much has been written and said already about staying
healthy as we age, so our Website is designed to direct you to material that may be
helpful. We have not attempted to rewrite the manuals,
but
have
provided
brief
information
and in web jargon
have designed this website as a "blog". This is short for web log which means a site pointing
to other
interesting sites on a subject.
As you find your way around this
site you will see words
that are underlined and coloured. By left clicking once with your
mouse pointer on these words you will be taken through to the destination they
refer to.

If you want to find out what services and
activities are available locally for older people, Age Concern is a
good starting point. Age Concern is the co-ordinating body for all groups
working with Older People. It is a not-for-profit organisation
promoting quality of life for older people.
Services offered around New Zealand will
vary, depending on the needs of the local community.
